Mi nariz

blogger, body positive, smile, gafas de sol, sunglasses,

¡Hola #inBtweenies!

NO.
NO.
NO.

Hi #inBtweenies!

How are you? How have you spent Easter? I hope it's ok. Finally I stay a little at home, with just time to undo my suitcase and do another one hehehe.

Today I wanted to tell you about my nose. Yes, I know it may sound a bit 'martian' at first, but I'm sure that if you have seen any of my photos you will know where I'd go.
Well, I'm really going to talk about my nose but I could do it about my body shape, my height, the shape of my toes or my ears.

Don't you continually ask yourself where that being perfect obsession comes from? Reflect on it: to be perfect...
  • What is pefect?
  • For whom?
  • Do we have to be all the same, then?

I have a nose with keenness of protagonism jejeje It's wide, I hardly have nasal bridge (and that is why all the glasses end up resting on the cheeks). According to Greek rules of beautiful faces, I'm not pretty at all.
When I was younger, my ears gave me complex, but, as they were hidden under my hair, I beared.
I couldn't cover my nose without generating the attention I was precisely avoiding.

Think about it: I wanted to cover my face!

I don't know your opinion but now that I read it seems an outrage. Is that what we have left to those who aren't perfect?

And here the questions end.

DO NOT. We don't have to hide because we don't follow some beauty canons.
DO NOT. We don't have to change it, to alter our body (unless it's our will).
NOT. Beauty is not perfection.

My nose is the inheritance of my paternal family as are my eyes, my ears, my hair or the shape of my hips. They are the result of a unique genetic combination.

So if you read this and you are concerned about a part of your body that doesn't 'fit' into that ideal of perfection:

CHEER UP, YOU ARE UNIQUE!

I love you very much, my dears.
