¿Qué tal estáis? Mucho frío, ¿verdad? Parecía que habíamos dejado atrás el invierno pero hemos dado marcha atrás en el último momento y nos hemos visto obligados a recuperar los abrigos.
Me encantan las parkas clásicas, sobre todo, el modelo fishtail* de corte recto masculino. Y aunque parece fácil de conseguir (un básico británico), me tomó casi una década encontrar mi parka. Las que me gustaban solían ser de colecciones de hombre y la talla menor, me quedaba grande.
Así que un día paseando por la Calle Fuencarral entré a Suite Blanco (cadena de ropa desaparecida a principios de este año) y la vi.
Tal y como quería: recta, larga y calentita. PER-FEC-TA. Se ha convertido casi en parte de mí, jejeje. Advierto, os cansaréis de vérmela.
En este paso por Madrid, ha tenido que cederle el protagonismo a las preciosas Onitsuka Tiger X-Caliber edición especial de Andrea Pompilio que me regalaron en mi cumpleaños y que son toda una rareza.
Y redondeándolo todo, el saquito de peluche y la bufanda extralarga que me tejió mi madre, conocedora desde Tenerife de los rigores del invierno peninsular.

Hi #inBtweenies!
How are you? Very cold weather, isn't it? It seemed that we had left the winter behind but we backed out at the last moment and we were forced to recover our coats.
I love the classic parkas, especially the straight-cut male fishtail model. And although it seems easy to get (a British basics), it took me almost a decade to find my ideal parka. The ones I liked used to be from man collections and the smaller size was too big for me.
So, one day, walking down Fuencarral Street (Madrid) I entered Suite Blanco (clothing brand disappeared earlier on this year) and I saw it.
Just as I wanted: straight, long and warm. PER-FECT. It has become almost a part of me, hehehe. I warn you, you will be tired of watching me wearing it.
In this stroll through Madrid, my lovely parka has had to give way to the precious Onitsuka Tiger X-Caliber special edition by Andrea Pompilio that gave me on my last birthday and are a real rarity.
And like final touches: the fluffy backpack and the extra-long scarf wove by my mother, knowing from Tenerife the rigors of the peninsular winter.
